About the Role
We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-driven Visual Merchandiser to support our corporate vending, micro market, pantry, and office coffee service operations. This role will help improve how our products, markets, equipment, and brands are presented across our customer locations and internal sales materials.
The Visual Merchandiser will work closely with Operations, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Branch Teams to create clean, consistent, customer-facing merchandising standards. This person will help ensure our markets look professional, products are placed intentionally, signage is clear, and our customer spaces reflect the quality of our company.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both creativity and execution. The right person will be comfortable designing visual standards, walking locations, building planograms, organizing product displays, taking photos, creating guides, and helping branch teams understand what “great” should look like in the field.

Key Responsibilities
Micro Market & Customer Location Presentation
-
Develop and maintain visual merchandising standards for micro markets, pantry areas, vending banks, coffee stations, and customer breakrooms.

Support market resets, product placement, cooler layouts, snack shelving, signage, and promotional displays.

Ensure customer-facing areas are clean, professional, organized, and aligned with company brand standards.

Identify opportunities to improve product flow, customer experience, and overall appearance at customer sites.

Help create before-and-after examples that can be used for training and branch execution.
Planograms & Product Layouts

Assist with creating and improving product planograms for markets, vending, pantry, and OCS programs.

Work with the Product Team to understand product categories, seasonal items, promotional items, high-margin products, and customer preferences.

Support consistent product placement across branches while allowing flexibility for local customer needs.

Help branches understand how merchandising decisions impact sales, customer satisfaction, and product rotation.
Branding, Signage & Customer Experience

Partner with Marketing and Operations to create signage, market communication pieces, product callouts, and promotional displays.

Help maintain consistency across company brands, customer-facing materials, and breakroom presentation.

Support new market launches, refresh projects, customer visits, and sales presentation materials.

Assist with visual standards for company equipment, market fixtures, coolers, racks, shelving, and displays.
Branch Support & Training

Create simple visual guides, SOPs, photo examples, and merchandising checklists for branch teams.

Train or support route teams, market attendants, product teams, and managers on visual standards.

Conduct field visits to review market appearance and provide practical feedback.

Partner with Branch Managers, Route Managers, Operations Managers, and Product Coordinators to improve execution.

Help establish a repeatable process for maintaining market cleanliness, product presentation, and brand consistency.
Corporate Project Support

Support companywide refresh initiatives, including market remodels, fleet/brand visuals, product launches, promotional programs, and customer-facing standards.

Assist with internal presentations, mockups, design boards, and project planning.

Track merchandising projects, open follow-up items, and branch-level execution needs.

Help build a library of approved visual standards, photos, templates, and signage examples.
Qualifications
-
Experience in visual merchandising, retail merchandising, product displays, marketing, design, grocery, convenience, foodservice, hospitality, or related field preferred.

Strong eye for layout, cleanliness, product placement, color, signage, and customer experience.

Ability to translate ideas into practical standards that field teams can follow.

Comfortable working in both an office setting and in customer locations.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

Highly organized and able to manage several projects at once.

Comfortable taking photos, documenting standards, and creating simple visual guides.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Canva, PowerPoint, or similar design/document tools preferred.

Experience with planograms, retail resets, micro markets, vending, convenience retail, or foodservice is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who can walk into a customer breakroom or micro market and immediately see what needs to be improved. They notice crooked signage, poor product placement, dusty shelves, confusing displays, empty space, or missed selling opportunities.
They are creative, but also practical. They understand that the best merchandising standards are simple enough for branch teams to execute consistently. They are comfortable partnering with Operations, Product, Marketing, and Sales to make our customer spaces look better, sell better, and represent our company at a higher level.
Physical Requirements

Ability to walk customer sites, warehouses, and branch locations.

Ability to occasionally lift, move, or adjust product, signage, display materials, and light fixtures.

Ability to stand for periods of time while completing market reviews, resets, or merchandising projects.

Local travel to branch or customer locations may be required.

Compensation
$23 - $27. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
