Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on the night shift (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM). This position plays a key role in ensuring residents receive quality care, comfort, and safety throughout the night.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including toileting, brief changes, and personal hygiene
- Reposition residents and provide incontinence care to maintain comfort and prevent skin breakdown
- Take and record vital signs as assigned
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
- Monitor residents throughout the night and report any changes in condition to the nurse
- Assist with early morning routines, including getting residents ready for the day
- Maintain a clean, safe, and quiet environment conducive to rest
- Follow individualized care plans and all facility policies and procedures
- Provide respectful, compassionate, and resident-centered care at all times
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in the state of Texas
- Ability to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Dependable with strong attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay attentive during overnight hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Previous long-term care experience preferred, but not required
