Now Hiring Overnight Transportation Dispatcher
Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Location: Pomona, CA
Pay Range: $18-20
Potential of up to $22 (depending on differential and experience)
Keep the wheels turning while the rest of the world sleeps. We're hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Overnight Transportation Dispatcher to support overnight logistics operations, bridging shifts and keeping drivers on schedule through the night.
What You'll Do (Job Duties):
- Assist 2nd shift with completing paperwork
- Move RDS stores to correct driver numbers
- Issue and track keys for drivers
- Finalize outstanding stores in RDS
- Close pickups upon receipt of paperwork
- Contact drivers exceeding recommended start times
- Notify stores of driver delays
- Update driver names on gate passes
- Add/remove stores from drivers in AS400
- Print BOLs (front and back)
- Issue exception codes as needed
- Complete and submit 3rd shift recap report
What You Bring (Skills and Requirements):
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently overnight and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with AS400, PCS, TMS, RDS, or similar dispatch systems preferred
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience: Previous dispatch or logistics experience a plus
