We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced dealership team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs to facilitate efficient service delivery
- Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and service recommendations
- Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmission work, suspension, tire service, and more
- Upsell additional services and maintenance plans by highlighting benefits that enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Manage service writing processes, including creating detailed work orders and tracking vehicle progress throughout the repair cycle
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards during all interactions
- Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, customer interactions, and vehicle histories to support ongoing customer relationships
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or background in auto service is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics, repairs (including engines, brakes, shocks & struts), and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Experience working with automotive repair systems such as auto estimating software and service writing tools
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Demonstrated ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and customer trust
- Knowledge of various automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, alignments, suspension, tire services, brake repairs, auto body repair, and more
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Sales experience related to automobile sales or aftermarket services is a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
