Position Overview:
- Location: Oxnard, CA and surrounding areas (Flexibility is essential)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (may vary)
- Pay Rate: LVN: $32-36/hr
- Start Date: August/September 2026
- Type: In-person, per diem openings
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes)
- Monitor and manage immunization records in compliance with state regulations
- Deliver first aid and emergency care
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
- Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and follow-up care
- Flexibility around the kind of care you will be providing
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 lbs
Qualifications:
- Active CA State LVN License
- BLS Certification
- Current negative TB test
- School nursing experience highly preferred but not required
