Heavy Equipment Mechanic Overview
- Repair, maintain, and rebuild heavy equipment and trucks
- All work will be local to the Lubbock area
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Duties
- Diagnose breakdowns and failures of company trucks and heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform analysis on equipment parts and systems
- Read instruments such as bore gauges, voltmeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Fill out paperwork associated with the equipment being repaired
- Maintain mechanic’s truck and all workspaces in a neat and clean condition
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of mechanic experience (REQUIRED)
- Good driving record
- Physically fit and ability to lift 50 lbs
- Conscientious and safety-oriented attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
