Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of ice cream/Gelato / Milk shake/Juice and Snow Flakes Ice and toppings with precision and care, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Operate POS systems such as Toast to process customer orders quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, providing correct change and managing cash handling procedures confidently.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and upselling additional products to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including bussing tables, sanitizing workstations, and ensuring proper food handling practices are followed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks in the café or quick service environment, supporting overall restaurant operations.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in Desert shop is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast enhances efficiency in processing transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling safety protocols and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe environment.
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, and providing exceptional customer service will help you excel in this role.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are necessary to ensure accurate transactions.
- Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus, especially if you have worked in cafés or grocery stores with food prep responsibilities.
