We’re looking for a motivated, detail oriented Sales Assistant to support our field and inside sales teams and help us scale to the next level.
Position Overview
As a Sales Assistant, you will be the backbone of our daily sales operations. You’ll handle administrative tasks, coordinate customer communications, prepare proposals and quotes, and ensure our CRM stays accurate and up to date. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys problem solving, and wants to build a long term career in sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support – Prepare sales materials, presentations, and proposals; draft and send quotes and contracts under the guidance of senior sales staff.
Customer Communication – Respond to inbound inquiries via phone and email, qualify leads, and schedule appointments for the sales team.
Order Processing – Assist with order entry, tracking, and coordination with fulfillment/logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Data Analysis – Generate weekly sales reports on pipeline, conversion rates, and activity metrics; flag trends and anomalies to management.
Team Coordination – Coordinate internal meetings, take minutes, and track action items; support the sales manager with ad hoc projects.
Other Assistance – Assist with warehouse manager for some emergency goods in/out.
Required Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of administrative, customer service, or sales support experience (internships count).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills – you can write clear, professional emails and speak confidently on the phone.
Organizational: Strong time management and multitasking abilities; you can prioritize competing deadlines without dropping the ball.
Mindset: Coachable, self starter, and comfortable with repetitive tasks as well as sudden urgent requests.
