American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week night shift travel assignment at a 135-bed HCA Healthcare facility in Walterboro, SC.

Respiratory Therapy department in a 135-bed acute care hospital (main building)
-
General respiratory therapy caseload including adults and pediatric patients
-
Two RRTs staffed per shift
-
Equipment includes Puritan Bennett 840 and 980 ventilators, V60 and V30 BiPAPs, and Airogen
-
MediTech used for documentation
-
12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Night shift with possible weekend rotation
-
Every other weekend required, with holidays worked in rotation with hospital staff
-
No floating required
-
Active RRT or CRT credential required; license required if applicable
-
Minimum 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
-
Allied candidates must have at least 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Proficiency in ventilator management, BiPAP setup, breathing treatments, ABGs, and oxygen delivery
-
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP (required for RT staff caring for neonates); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start

AHA or ARC certifications accepted

SSN (US only) and date of birth required for consideration

One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)

Procedures performed include breathing treatments, walk tests, BiPAP setup, ventilator management and settings, intubation assistance, and ABGs

The facility is an HCA Healthcare hospital recognized as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission for four consecutive years, ranking in the top 15% of U.S. hospitals for quality care

The facility provides 24/7 emergency care for both adults and children

Royal blue scrubs required
