Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including supervising staff, ensuring smooth shift transitions, and maintaining high service standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety protocols to deliver quality culinary experiences
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
- Control inventory levels through accurate stock management, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Train and develop staff on food handling, customer service, kitchen procedures, and safety standards
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring costs related to food production, labor, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment for both staff and guests
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant management roles within quick service & fast food or casual dining establishments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen operations
- Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising teams and conducting staff training & development
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cash handling duties confidently
- Skilled in inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
- Experience managing shifts, supervising kitchen operations, and coordinating catering or banquet services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including budgeting, staffing, and quality assurance
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and support team growth
