The Role
This is a hands-on, floor-leading role — not an office position. Our Restaurant Manager leads by example, jumps into problems, supports the team, and works alongside staff during busy periods. You will play a critical role in launching and operating our Petaluma restaurant.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations
- Hire, staff, train, and onboard team members
- Develop and coach your team
- Build schedules and manage labor
- Drive guest satisfaction and hospitality standards
- Own food-safety compliance and ensure all applicable alcohol-beverage service regulations are followed
- Manage cost controls and operational budgets
- Develop training programs, SOPs, and operational systems
- Build store culture and employee engagement
- Assist with opening and launch activities
- Drive execution of company standards
What You Bring (Minimum Qualifications)
- Active ServSafe Manager Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience
- Experience leading food-service teams
- Experience hiring, coaching, and developing employees
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Must hold, or be able to obtain, California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification and comply with all applicable ABC regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience
- New-restaurant opening experience
- Multi-unit or high-volume full-service experience
Paid Training
The selected candidate will complete a paid 4–6 week training program at our established location. All time spent in the training program is compensated at the employee's full salary rate. Hotel accommodations and meals during training are provided by the company.
