Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and strategic Business Development and Community Response Manager to lead our outreach efforts, foster community relationships, and drive growth initiatives. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by strengthening our community presence, managing volunteer programs, and expanding our service reach. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a passion for social engagement, marketing, and building lasting partnerships.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance community engagement and business growth opportunities
- Cultivate media relations by coordinating press releases, interviews, and public appearances to raise awareness of our services
- Manage social media platforms through engaging content creation, social media marketing campaigns, and audience interaction
- Lead public speaking engagements at community events to promote our mission and services
- Oversee volunteer management programs, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and recognition efforts
- Collect data on community needs, outreach effectiveness, and program impact to inform future strategies
- Coordinate fundraising initiatives and public relations activities to support organizational goals
Skills
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
- Proven experience in media relations, public speaking, and social media management
- Strong background in marketing, public relations, sales, and strategic planning
- Experience in volunteer management and social media marketing strategies
- Ability to handle data collection for program evaluation and reporting purposes
- Skilled in budgeting and financial planning related to outreach initiatives
