Full Time Position: Convenience Store Cashier
Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 hour
Reports to: Store Manager
Summary: Georgetown Station Convenience Store is looking for a store cashier to handle customer transactions, provides excellent service, and maintains the store's appearance. The Cashier is responsible for operating the cash register, processing payments, restocking shelves, and ensuring the store is clean and organized. They also assist customers with locating items, answering questions, and resolving issues.
Experience:
· Excellent customer service to guest/customers
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to perform in high-volume or stressful situations
· Ability to be cross-trained in multiple roles/tasks
· Maintain a positive attitude
Requirements:
· 6 months + experience in Retail, Sales, or Customer Service
· Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
· Must be 21 years old
· Flexible work schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to multi task
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic
· Must have reliable transportation
· Must be able to pass background check and drug test
