We are looking for a caring and courteous team member to join our front desk team. This important role serves as the first point of contact for our patients, both in person and on the phone. Responsibilities include welcoming and registering patients, collecting and entering demographic information, coordinating appointments, and verifying insurance eligibility.
Additional responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, assisting patients with forms and paperwork, maintaining accurate patient records, and communicating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth scheduling and patient flow. The front desk team member will also help manage incoming documents, process referrals, and provide general administrative support to the office.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable using computer systems, and committed to providing a positive and professional experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
This is a part-time position, 2-3 days per week, hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. As a part time employee you are eligible for paid time off.
You will be based primarily out of our Eau Claire Office and occasionally at our Rice Lake office.
This position has a potential to become a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities
- Being a helpful, positive first impression as a representative of Winkley in person and over the phone
- The front desk role is to be the first point of contact with patients and those involved in their care by scheduling and coordinating appointments, answering the phone, and developing a positive rapport with patients
- This position requires courteous communication and administrative support to the practitioners, referring physicians, and other medical staff
Main Front Desk Duties
- Answering telephones, scheduling, interacting with patients, and providing/preparing documents for patients as needed
- Creating a strong line of communication between you, our team, and referral sources
- Entering patient information into our medical records system
- Scanning patient documents into our medical record system
- Making sure patient rooms are sanitized when rooming and lobby/front desk kept tidy
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
