Transportation and Logistics Coordinator

A stable, established manufacturer is adding a Transportation and Logistics Coordinator to its team. This person will be the connection between our production sites, our shipping partners, and our customers — making sure product gets where it needs to go, on time and at the right cost. What You'll Own
- Build and manage relationships with transportation providers, pushing for pricing and service that keeps us competitive
- Act as the main point of contact for outsourced shipping and storage partners, holding them accountable for performance
- Coordinate product movement between production, storage, and delivery points, adjusting on the fly when plans change
- Guide shipments bound for international customers through the paperwork and partners needed to cross borders without delay
- Track down and resolve issues with shipments that arrive damaged or delayed
- Dig into shipping costs and invoices to catch errors and find savings
- Bring fresh ideas to how freight and warehousing get handled — and put them into practice
What Sets You Up to Succeed
- A background in transportation, freight, or supply chain — provider-side experience welcomed
- Ease navigating ERP or logistics software
- Keeps several priorities moving, while maintaining awareness and proactive approach to transportation
- Communication skills sharp enough to work with internal teams, outside partners, and customers alike
- A relevant degree is a plus, not a requirement
