About the Role
Teddy’s Detail is looking for a confident, outgoing, and creative person to appear in videos for our mobile car detailing brand.
You do not need to be a professional actor.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable in front of a camera, speaks clearly, has a good personality, and can help make our videos interesting and engaging.
Videos may be used for:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- TikTok
- YouTube
- Our website
- Online advertising
- Other company marketing
What You May Do
Depending on the video, you may:
- Speak directly to the camera about our detailing services
- Introduce special offers or promotions
- Explain how a service works
- Demonstrate or help demonstrate a detailing service
- Act as a customer receiving a detail
- Appear alongside our detailing team
- Follow a provided script
- Speak naturally using talking points we provide
- Participate in before-and-after style videos
You are not required to actually be a professional car detailer.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and natural on camera
- Friendly and energetic
- Comfortable speaking clearly
- Reliable and on time
- Able to follow simple scripts and directions
- Professional around customers and vehicles
- Comfortable having videos posted publicly online
- Located in York, PA or able to travel to York and surrounding areas
Previous acting, modeling, UGC, social media, sales, hosting, or content creation experience is a plus, but not required.
Compensation
This position is paid per video/project.
Pay depends on:
- Experience
- Type of video
- Length of video
- Amount of speaking involved
- Complexity of the project
The rate will be agreed upon before filming each project.
This is not a guaranteed-hours position. We are looking for someone we can potentially work with regularly as we continue creating content.
