The Senior Financial Planning Analyst provides financial planning and strategic resource management support for Department of the Navy acquisition programs. The individual supports long-range planning initiatives by developing financial strategies, preparing planning documentation, coordinating resource requirements, and assisting leadership with financial decision-making throughout the PPBE process. This position collaborates with Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Principal Financial Officers (PFOs), technical program managers, and DoN stakeholders to ensure program resources are aligned with mission priorities while maintaining compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Specific Duties:
1) Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience supporting Enterprise solutions for the Department of the Navy or PEO Integrated Warfare Systems in financial planning, programming, budgeting, or resource management activities.
2) Demonstrated experience supporting the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, Future Years Defense Program (FYDP), and Department of the Navy appropriations.
3) Experience developing, updating, utilizing, and maintaining Navy Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Navy ERP, Microsoft Excel, and other DoN financial management systems.
4) Working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR), and Department of the Navy Comptroller guidance and ensures compliance with DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR), Department of the Navy financial guidance, and applicable acquisition policies.
5) Assist with Congressional inquiries, Financial Management Board (FMB) actions, SEA01 Comptroller requests, and financial briefings.
Pay: $41.00 - $64.00 per hour
