Job Overview
We are looking for an energetic, professional Sales Associate who is passionate about helping customers and excels at building relationships. We are looking for someone who enjoys selling, educating customers, and creating an exceptional shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of direct retail sales experience in a customer-facing sales role where you were expected to actively recommend and sell products. Cashier, stocking, warehouse, or general retail experience alone does not qualify.
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and confidently recommend products based on their needs.
- Comfortable proactively approaching every customer and initiating conversations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and excellent work ethic.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain a large product catalog, including ingredients, product benefits, and routines, in order to educate customers and make personalized recommendations.
- Ability to independently open and close the store, including cash handling, store security, and following company procedures.
- Weekend availability is required (Saturday & Sunday).
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in beauty, skincare, cosmetics, luxury retail, boutique retail, or specialty retail sales.
- Experience working toward sales goals, KPIs, or commission-based incentives.
- Experience conducting customer consultations and building personalized product recommendations.
- Passion for skincare, cosmetics, or the beauty industry.
Please note: This is a sales-focused position, not a cashier or stock associate role. We are looking for candidates with experience actively selling products, educating customers, and meeting sales goals. Applicants with only general retail, stocking, or cashier experience may not be considered.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
