Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer develops and executes creative visual solutions that support client events as well as MC&A’s marketing and branding initiatives. This role creates a wide range of print, digital, and environmental graphics, including event branding, presentations, signage, promotional materials, and social media content, while collaborating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Essential Job Functions
· Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality creative assets that support both MC&A’s internal business objectives and client programs, including print and digital collateral, event branding, video and social media content, presentations, signage, and integrated marketing materials. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and revise creative deliverables based on feedback, ensuring all materials meet established standards for accuracy, brand consistency, and overall quality. Projects include but aren’t limited to (event signage, invitations, menus, maps, schedules, websites and social media posts) (70%)
· Collaborate with internal departments, external vendors and clients to develop creative concepts and deliver design solutions that align with project goals and brand standards. (10%)
· Manage, organize, and maintain MC&A’s online photo gallery and digital asset library, ensuring files are current, accessible, and properly categorized. (10%)
· Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of photo and video shoots for client programs, events, marketing campaigns, and corporate initiatives. (10%)
Other Duties:
· Research design trends and technology and share insights with the team to keep offerings relevant.
· Provide support to other departments as needed or as directed by leadership.
· Assist with ad hoc projects led by team leadership
· Research and onboard new vendors; maintain vendor production timelines and pricing.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 1 year of professional graphic design experience.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
· Proficiency with Canva, Mailchimp and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excell, PowerPoint) preferred.
· Proficiency with website design, including WordPress, is preferred.
· Strong understanding of typography, layout design, color theory, visual hierarchy, and brand identity development.
· Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to accept feedback constructively and adapt creative solutions accordingly.
· Knowledge of print production processes and vendor coordination preferred.
· Photography, photo editing, video editing, motion graphics and illustration skills are a plus.
· Ability to engage various AI platforms for communication, image and idea generation.
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Working Hours
· Full-Time position during standard business hours, 8:00am to 5:00pm. (evenings/weekends may be required)
· Must reside on Oahu, Hawaii
Physical Demands

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
