Precise Tree Care, Inc. is a family owned and operated tree care company serving Frankfort and the surrounding areas. We are a busy, customer-focused office, and the receptionist role is one of the most important positions in our company.
This is not a quiet front desk role. This position is fast paced, interruption-heavy, and requires strong attention to detail while juggling phones, texts, emails, and urgent customer needs throughout the day.
Who this role is for:
This position is ideal for someone who:
- Enjoys a fast-moving workday and stays energized when things get busy
- Learns quickly by watching, doing, and asking questions
- Is friendly, calm, and reassuring with customers, even when they are upset or stressed
- Can accept feedback, corrections, and redirection without taking it personally
- If a mistake is made, can fix the issue, and move forward (we are all human!)
- Goes with the flow and adapts easily when priorities change
- Takes pride in being thorough and accurate, even under pressure
If you need a highly structured, predictable environment to feel comfortable, this role may not be the right fit.
Fast paced and occasionally chaotic by nature
Our office can become especially busy after major storms, holiday weekends, and during peak season. During these times, phone calls, texts, and emails increase quickly, and priorities may shift throughout the day.
This role is a great fit for someone who:
- Stays calm and focused when things feel hectic
- Thinks clearly under pressure
- Finds energy in high volume days
- Can adjust quickly without becoming overwhelmed
We do our best work on busy days, and we are looking for someone who does too.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering a high volume of incoming phone calls
- Responding to customer texts and emails throughout the day
- Taking detailed estimate and service requests
- Communicating clearly, kindly, and professionally with customers
- Handling urgent or time-sensitive customer needs
- Entering and updating customer information accurately
- Scheduling and coordinating services
- Supporting other office team members during busy periods
- Helping keep the front of the office running smoothly
What matters most to us:
We care far more about how you work than where you have worked.
Strong candidates are:
- Detail oriented but not rigid
- Confident enough to ask questions - WE LOVE QUESTIONS!
- Comfortable being coached and corrected while learning
- Reliable, consistent, and dependable
- Team-oriented and willing to jump in where needed
Schedule and pay:
- Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with an hour lunch (we close at 6:00 when daylights savings is off)
- Every other Saturday during busy season
- Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits include health insurance with employer contribution, fully paid dental, vision, and life insurance if enrolled in health coverage (no stipend), and paid time off.
A note about training:
This role takes time to learn. We are looking for someone who is patient, committed, and interested in growing into the role, not someone looking for a temporary stop.
If this sounds like an environment where you would thrive, we would love to hear from you.
