Job Summary
Pacific Motors is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our staff. We have been open since 2009 and are a well-established brand in the used automotive parts industry. We specialize in selling automotive parts for Exotic, Luxury, and Sports vehicles (Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston Martin, Porsche, BMW, etc...). We are an ecommerce business and work with customers all over the United States and the world.
The position we are seeking will work on-site Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. You would be working in an office with 3-4 other individuals and would work under the direction of our Sales & Customer Service Manager. You would be working at a desk with a PC and phone and would be responsible for responding to customer questions (emails, phone calls, online messages, text messages). You would also have other daily tasks, such as processing returns & refunds, assisting customers with purchases, completing office checklists, and other related tasks. You will be expected to communicate effectively and respectfully with all different types of people. You will be expected to stay organized and move between different tasks fairly easily throughout the day.
Duties
- Respond to customer communications via email, phone, or online messages
- Put together and process invoices for customers
- Communicate relevant information quickly to our Shipping Department
- Become familiar with the platforms we use for selling online
- Work with our Inventory Management Software and become proficient with using it for various functions (searching our inventory, processing invoices)
- Perform occasional, small marketing tasks at the direction of the Sales Manager
- Light daily cleaning and upkeep of office
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is strongly preferred
- Some experience troubleshooting minor tech issues (PCs, printers, software, phones) is strongly preferred
- Previous experience with shipping issues (especially LTL Freight) would be extremely helpful, but is not necessary
- Previous experience (basic skill level) with MS Excel or Google Sheets would be helpful
