About The Playground
The Playground is an indoor sensory motor gym designed to help children build confidence, communication, and independence through movement and play. We serve children from birth through age 8 and offer a combination of individual therapy, group therapy, enrichment classes, and community programming.
Our mission is to create a place where children move, play, learn, and grow together.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and treat children ages 0–8 with a variety of communication disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans and functional goals
- Provide engaging one-on-one speech therapy sessions
- Lead or co-lead small group therapy and social language groups
- Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists in a multidisciplinary setting
- Educate and coach parents to support communication at home
- Complete timely documentation and progress reports
- Help develop innovative group programs and seasonal enrichment classes

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Mississippi SLP license (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Pediatric experience preferred but not required
- Passion for play-based, family-centered therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
