Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom to inspire young minds and foster a nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental needs of 3-year-olds, incorporating literacy education, math, physical activity, and creative play.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperative behavior through effective behavior management strategies.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of each child's progress in areas such as childhood development, early intervention needs, and school readiness skills.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's achievements, challenges, and daily experiences to foster strong home-school partnerships.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR protocols.
- Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and implementing special education or individualized support plans when necessary.
- Stay informed about mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with all regulations related to child welfare and safety.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings with a focus on toddler care.
- Strong knowledge of child development instruction, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Ability to design engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and arts activities.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within a collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention strategies, and standardized testing methods relevant to preschool-aged children.
- Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of childhood welfare policies is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to manage behavior positively while fostering an inclusive classroom that supports diverse learning needs.
