Rohde & Schwarz is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented Application Engineer ideally based near Raleigh-Durham or Greensboro, NC. As an Application Engineer, you’ll provide solutions to complex problems faced by engineers and scientists designing and building today’s most advanced aerospace, defense and commercial solutions. Working alongside our sales, marketing, and R&D teams, you will be demonstrating products, providing training, and delivering technical support to our broad customer base. By functioning as a consultative solutions provider, our Application Engineers are often treated as an extension of the customer’s internal technical teams. Your tasks
Technical support for RF and Microwave Test and Measurement instruments and applications
Work closely with a team of Application Engineers and regional Account Managers to drive customer engagement and satisfaction
Develop and deliver technical seminars and customer training sessions in the South Region
Pre/Post-sales support, including customer demonstrations, equipment start-up, and training
Consultant to customers involved in research, development and test of RF and Microwave products and systems
Provide technical feedback to product developers to influence product enhancements and future roadmaps
