Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview
As a Carpenter's Assistant, you'll work directly alongside our Lead Carpenter and project team on a variety of residential remodeling projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things the right way, and wants to learn the residential remodeling trade from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Carpenter with daily construction and remodeling activities
- Assist with demolition, framing, trim work, cabinetry installation, and general carpentry tasks
- Load, unload, organize, and transport materials to and from job sites
- Pick up materials from local suppliers as needed
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites throughout each project
- Protect finished surfaces and completed work during construction
- Complete punch-list items and warranty work as directed
- Safely operate basic hand and power tools
- Help maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Work alongside subcontractors while maintaining Meridian's standards of professionalism and quality

- Can safely lift up to 100 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Has basic construction experience (preferred, but not required)
- Owns basic hand tools
