We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Japanese Bilingual Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator to support purchasing, inventory, and supply chain operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with vendors, coordinating purchasing activities, analyzing data, and improving operational efficiency. Approximately 90–95% of the position focuses on purchasing and supply chain responsibilities, while 5–10% involves providing occasional internal IT backup support. No prior IT experience is required—training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase orders and coordinate purchasing activities
- Communicate with domestic and international vendors regarding pricing, order status, and delivery schedules
- Monitor inventory levels and support inventory planning
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely procurement
- Maintain purchasing records and operational documentation
- Analyze purchasing and inventory data using Microsoft Excel
- Assist with continuous process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Provide occasional internal IT backup support (approximately 5–10% of responsibilities; training provided)
Qualifications
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- SUMIFS
- XLOOKUP
- Pivot Tables
- Previous experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Control, or related office operations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
