We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lower Elementary Teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods.
- Incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education into daily activities.
- Mentor and guide students in their social and emotional development.
- Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administration to support student learning objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior management strategies.
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a kindergarten or preschool environment.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
- Experience with literacy education, math instruction, tutoring, and library services is desirable.
- Ability to utilize learning technology effectively in the classroom setting.
- Strong proofreading and writing skills for creating instructional materials.
