Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck with window, doors, trim building material to customers’ homes and businesses.
- Load and unload cargo , ensuring items are secured properly for transit.
- Drive efficiently, adhering to schedules and traffic laws to meet delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery.
- Handle heavy lifting when moving items into delivery locations or storage areas, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and completion records throughout your shift.
- Assist with warehouse tasks when needed, including inventory management and organizing stock for upcoming deliveries.
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier work is highly preferred;
- Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles .
- Knowledge of building material operations .
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly throughout the day.
- Demonstrated reliability in load & unload procedures and adherence to safety standards during transportation. Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
