Position Overview
Nany Lamasat Bridal is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their craft, works efficiently under deadlines, and delivers exceptional results on bridal and formal wear alterations.
Responsibilities
- Perform alterations and fittings on bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, formal wear, and related garments
- Take accurate measurements and mark garments for alterations
- Hem, let out, take in, and reconstruct garments to achieve a precise, flattering fit
- Sew custom details, embellishments, and repairs as needed
- Operate sewing machines, overlock/serger machines, and other industry equipment safely and proficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation and manage multiple orders simultaneously
- Meet turnaround deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Communicate with clients professionally during fittings to understand their needs and preferences
- Work collaboratively with the bridal team to ensure a seamless client experience
Requirements
- Proficient in sewing, including performing alterations on any garment type
- Knowledgeable in the operation of sewing machines, overlock/serger machines, and other sewing equipment
- Experience with bridal, formal, or couture garments preferred
- Ability to hand-sew with precision when required
- Must be able to communicate, read, and write proficiently in English
- Professional customer service skills with a warm, client-focused attitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
- Prior experience in a bridal or alterations environment is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
