Youth Haven Services – Lawsonville, NC (Day Treatment Program)
At Youth Haven Services, our mission is to support the healing and growth of children, adolescents, and families through empowerment and hope. We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and licensed therapist to join our Day Treatment Program in Lawsonville, NC.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide clinical services to children and adolescents in a school-based Day Treatment setting while also supporting School-Based Therapy services for Stokes County clients as needed.
The Day Treatment Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services for students enrolled in the Day Treatment program at our Lawsonville, NC site. This role works collaboratively with school personnel, treatment team members, families, and community partners to promote positive behavioral health outcomes. In addition, the therapist will provide School-Based Therapy services for Stokes County clients as needed.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy (when appropriate and approved) for Day Treatment clients.
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and reassessments.
Provide School-Based Therapy services for Stokes County clients as assigned.
Collaborate with Day Treatment staff, school personnel, families, DSS, MCOs, and community providers to coordinate care.
Attend Child and Family Team meetings and other treatment planning meetings as needed.
Assist with treatment planning, placement coordination, and outside referrals.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including therapy notes, assessments, treatment plans, and clinical supervision documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support when necessary.
Maintain compliance with agency, state, and Medicaid documentation requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Master's degree in a Human Services or related field.
Mental health licensure (full or provisional: LCSW, LCSWA, LPC, or LCMHC).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with electronic health records and standard computer applications.
Two or more years of clinical experience working with children and adolescents experiencing mental or behavioral health challenges.
Experience providing school-based or Day Treatment services.
Knowledge of community resources and service systems.
