If tracing a signal chain, aligning a microwave assembly, and validating a subsystem under environmental stress sounds like your kind of challenge, this role is for you. You’ll help ensure the RF and microwave hardware behind aerospace, defense, communications, radar, space, electronic warfare, and UAV programs performs flawlessly.
- Diagnose and correct issues by tuning, aligning, and testing microwave components and subsystems
- Execute preliminary testing, pulse focusing, and environmental evaluations
- Carefully assemble and disassemble tubes to test and repair returned TWTs
- Operate network/spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power meters with confidence
- Partner with engineers on deep-dive troubleshooting and support new product introductions
- Document results with rigor and communicate daily progress to the team
- Meet production schedules while adhering to quality and compliance standards
- Direct electrical/electronic testing experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment (required)
- Hands-on proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power meters (required)
- Working command of Ohm’s Law and foundational electronics theory (required)
- Detail-oriented communicator who values accuracy (required)
- Technical Associate degree or equivalent military electronics training (required)
- RF/microwave test exposure is a plus
- U.S. Citizen; able to obtain a D.O.D. security clearance (required)
- Schedule: Day shift start between 6:00–7:00 AM
- Compensation: $23.00–$30.00 per hour DOE
- Sign-on: $5,000
