What You’ll Do
As a Welder/Upfitter, you’ll install and weld aftermarket and custom components—flatbeds, lift gates, van interiors, and more—onto truck chassis. This is hands-on, high-impact work that requires mechanical know-how, strong welding skills, and attention to detail.
Your Day-to-Day Includes:
· MIG welding on steel and aluminum parts with precision and consistency
· Installing and fitting toolboxes, bumpers, racks, brackets, and hydraulic components
· Mechanical assembly, including bolting, wiring, and hose routing
· Reading and following blueprints, installation specs, and work orders
· Operating tools like grinders, saws, drills, and measuring devices
· Working closely with your team to meet deadlines and quality standards
· Keeping your work area clean and safe following OSHA and company protocols
What You Bring
· 1–2 years of welding and mechanical assembly experience (truck or automotive experience preferred)
· Proficiency in MIG welding (TIG or Stick is a plus)
· Ability to read blueprints, tape measures, and technical drawings
· Familiarity with basic tools and fabrication equipment
· High school diploma or GED
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work safely and efficiently
Schedule
- 4/10s: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Occasional overtime as needed

Compensation is based on education and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at varying heights, and access tight or awkward spaces on vehicle chassis.
- Use of hands and arms to operate tools, handle materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must have full range of motion and physical stamina to perform job duties safely and effectively in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Ability to work in a production environment that may involve exposure to heat, dust, noise, and fumes, while wearing appropriate PPE.
