Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage routes effectively. Driver will be required to stay in the sleeper. Shift is 5 days on and 2 days off.
Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload materials at designated locations.
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and fuel usage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must pass all required background checks and drug screenings.
- A commitment to safety in all aspects of driving and handling materials.
