We are looking for a Property Manager to join our team in the Jackson, MS area.
Job description
BASIC PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the property, as well as the hiring and development of their team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Motivate and hold accountable your team - including leasing and maintenance staff
- Oversee all tasks of Leasing Agent and Assistant Manager are completed.
- Ensure that that all prospects, residents and family members have positive interactions with team members
- Maintains property rentals by advertising and filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, and maintaining and securing premises
- Inputting monthly expenses and invoices.
- Responsible for the oversight and execution of building operations
- Oversee budgeted financial expectations including rent collections, occupancy expectations, and expense guidelines.
- Contracts with tenants by negotiating leases and collecting security deposit
- Enforces occupancy policies and procedures
- Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Responsible for the oversight and hiring of team members, and providing continuous learning and development of their team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 2 years experience in Property Manager
- Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires frequent standing and walking with occasionally bending over, reaching
Overhead and walking up stairs. Pulling, lifting, or carrying up to 50 pounds.
