Maintenance Technician, Incline Village, NV
QM Resorts is looking to hire a proficient Maintenance Technician. This opportunity is a full-time position, set schedule with Wednesday and Thursday off, with exciting employee benefits and perks included.
Candidate must be able to reliable commute to Incline Village, NV in all weather conditions, specially when snows.
Must be proficient in all areas of maintenance for resorts and have all the tool required to perform the job.
A valid driving licence and a clean driving record is required.
Responsibilities (non-inclusive)
- Regular inspections of all electrical, mechanical and other facility equipment;
- Detecting any defects or malfunctions, immediately repairing, and refurbishing;
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment run smooth, building systems operate efficiently, good physical condition of building(s) and spas function correctly and safety;
- Regular inspections of smoke alarms, fire extinguishers exit signs and emergency lighting;
- Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structure;
- Repair/install plumbing, exhaust fans, and HVAC equipment;
- Install and repair electrical equipment, wiring and electrical components;
- Create purchasing orders for parts needed and keep necessary inventory in shop;
- Keep Storages and shop clean and organized;
- Respond to all guest related issues in a timely manner;
- Work in landscaping and snow removal in all property;
- This position requires on-call 24hrs (emergencies only);
- Pool and spa daily maintenance, water testing and balancing.
Qualifications
- 2-year experience in Resort Maintenance.
- CPO Certified (Preferred) or ability to get certified in the first month of employment (Required)
- Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts (incl. evenings/weekends/and emergencies).
- Must have clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Ability to solve problems in the absence of guidance;
- Able to multitask work in a fast-paced environment;
- English required.
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish), is a huge plus but not requiredMust have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Ability to write reports and email on computer (English).

Experience
- Supervisory: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hospitality maintenance: 2 years (Required)
- CPO Valid Certification (Required) or ability to get the certification within the first month of employment.
