About the Nurse Residency Program
Lakeland Regional Health (LRH) promises to treasure, nurture and inspire all our newly hired and transferring new Registered Nurses through a comprehensive, learner-centered one-year Nurse Residency Program. The program supports the successful transition of the new nurse into a professional role in an acute care setting in one of the following patient care areas :
• Acute Care Services (Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Palliative, Orthopedics, Nephrology) • Intermediate Care Services (Medical, Cardiac, Trauma, Neuro/Stroke) •Critical Care Services (SICU, TICU, MICU, Neuro) • Emergency Services (Main ED, Pedi ED) • Behavioral Health Services (Mental Health ) • Women’s and Children’s Services (Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, NICU) • Perioperative Services (OR, PACU)*• Cardiac Cath Lab*
- Please note that that Perioperative Services and Cardiac Cath Lab positions require a 30 minute call expectation.
