Overview
We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant for our fast paced allergy office. We are a company that cares for our patients. And enjoy working together as a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in inpatient.
- Support physicians with clinical tasks such as medication administration, injections, allergy testing, performing spirometry test and other testings.
- Operate and maintain Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information securely
- Assist with ICD coding and documentation for billing and insurance purposes
- Refill medications, Prior Auth's,
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols

- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort during visits

Experience
- Prior experience in private practice or allergy and asthma clinic is helpful.

- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is essential

- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is mandatory; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as emergency medicine or inpatient units

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
