Quality Assurance Technician (Level A–B)

In this role, you’ll be hands-on in the production environment, partnering with operations to ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company standards.
Key responsibilities include:

Conducting pre-operational inspections to ensure readiness

Performing and documenting quality checks; reporting any variances

Monitoring product and cooler temperatures

Verifying labels, weights, and metal detection systems

Ensuring sanitation standards and GMP compliance are followed

Testing sanitizer and chemical concentrations
-
Auditing departments for quality and food safety compliance
-
Performing basic sensory evaluations of products
-
Supporting customer specification requirements
-
Entering and tracking quality data in spreadsheets
-
Participating in HACCP and Food Safety Plan activities
-
Assisting with FSMA validation studies and special projects
Our ideal candidate will have:

Strong attention to detail and observational skills

The ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment

Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Comfort working independently when needed

Ability to read, write, and understand procedures in English

Bilingual skills (a plus, but not required)

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
At least 1 year of experience in food production or quality assurance

Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)

Experience with environmental monitoring (preferred)
-
HACCP knowledge or experience (a plus)
This role works directly on the production floor and includes:

Frequent standing and walking
-
Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Exposure to cold, heat, humidity, and food production environments

Working around machinery and food-grade chemicals
-
Tasks that may include bending, kneeling, or climbing stairs/ladders
-
Full-time position
-
Overtime may be required based on production needs
-
No travel required
