Key Responsibilities

Lead mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, restructurings, and other corporate matters from inception through closing.

Advise business owners, executives, and privately held companies on strategic legal and business decisions.

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other complex transactional documents.

Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the corporate practice.

Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Qualifications / Nice to Have
Must Have
-
J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.

Significant corporate transactional experience in a law firm environment.

Experience leading mergers and acquisitions and complex business transactions.

Experience independently managing client relationships and legal matters.

Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.
Nice to Have

Experience representing privately held, middle-market, or closely held businesses.

Experience mentoring junior attorneys.

Experience with private equity, financing transactions, corporate governance, or succession planning matters.
Benefits

Expected compensation generally ranging from $275,000 to $400,000+, depending on productivity, collections, and business origination.

15% origination compensation on collected revenue from originated business.

Profit-sharing contributions, historically ranging from $10,000 to $28,000 annually.

Two-year draw protection period for lateral Non-Equity Partner hires during practice integration.
