Primary Responsibilities:
- Promotes an atmosphere of good will and accountability between the company and the customer. Acts in professional manner and provides a superior level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Efficiently performs Planned maintenance on equipment based on OEM required intervals or as noted in operator’s manual
- Identifies safety concerns on equipment
- Identifies recommend repairs to the customer and our service writers.
- Accurately and neatly documents each service call, Completes the necessary paperwork.
- Accurately maintains and documents van inventory
- Maintains a clean and organized van
- Observes all safety procedures, makes certain that hazardous waste is properly disposed.
- Promotes a clean and safe work environment at our customers facility
- Cooperatively performs additional duties when assigned by Service Management
- Other duties as assigned by management
Skills Required:
- Effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and management.
- Strong computer skills
- Has basic mechanical knowledge
- Has the ability to understand the necessary service and training manuals, including the ability to interpret Service intervals/manuals and effectively use provided equipment.
- Keep pace with industry innovations in order to make sound recommendations to customers.
- Can safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.
- Has the ability to perform strenuous and heavy work, can exert force up to 100 pounds on occasion and frequently handle loads to 50 pounds.
- Must have physical stamina to perform continuously with full body motion for climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting and reaching, etc.
- Willing to work in harsh environments
Education and Work Experience:
Prior experience at Lube facility
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
