Job Overview
Faircroft is seeking a highly detail-oriented and dependable Model Home Cleaning Specialist to maintain the flawless presentation of our luxury model homes, inventory homes, and move-in-ready properties. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who takes pride in creating clean, polished, and welcoming spaces that leave a premium impression on potential buyers.
The position includes daily model home upkeep, spec home cleaning, and final deep cleans before closing. Responsibilities include dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, polishing glass and fixtures, removing construction dust and debris, and ensuring each home is ready for showings or move-in.
This role requires travel between multiple job sites throughout the day; candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license, as no company vehicle will be provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Dust and wipe flat surfaces, shelving, furniture, baseboards, fixtures, and other visible areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop flooring, including hardwood, tile, luxury vinyl plank, and carpet.
- Sanitize and polish countertops, sinks, appliances, mirrors, glass, and bathroom fixtures.
- Restock restrooms with toiletries and paper goods as needed.
- Spot clean glass doors, entryways, mirrors, and accessible interior windows for a clean, streak-free appearance.
- Sweep porches and entryways and remove cobwebs to support curb appeal.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment organized and notify management of supply needs, property damage, or maintenance concerns.
- Complete spec home and final cleaning tasks, including removal of construction dust and debris, cabinet cleaning, appliance cleaning, window touch-ups, and fixture polishing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with professional cleaning, residential cleaning, hospitality housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or model home maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct smudges, fingerprints, dust, misplaced décor, and other presentation issues.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and complete tasks.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, climb stairs or step stools, and lift or carry up to 25 pounds.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to travel between multiple job sites during the workday.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of professional cleaning experience preferred, including residential maid service, luxury hotel housekeeping, commercial office cleaning, or similar experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage tasks.
