Shopify Store Operations & Marketing Lead

The Opportunity: Build the Engine
Regen Wellness is moving from "startup mode" to "scale mode." We are ramping up our order volume and we need a visionary leader to improve our current setup. This isn't a role where you just follow a manual—you are writing the manual. You will manage our fulfillment model: overseeing local inventory while mastering and optimizing our high-volume drop shipping processes.
Key Responsibilities1. Order Management
- Fulfillment Process: Oversee medical clinic inventory and local pick-up orders while optimizing our manual drop-ship vendor portal workflows using automation tools (e.g., Spot N Paste).
- Process Engineering: Create and document SOPs for all fulfillment practices to ensure a 99% accuracy rate.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate our current workflows and implement professional-grade tools to eliminate bottlenecks.
2. Shopify Analytics & Customer Experience
- Data-Driven Operations: Use Shopify Analytics to track fulfillment velocity, error rates, and shipping costs. Present insights to improve our bottom line.
- Customer Support: Act as the "voice of the brand" for order-related inquiries, resolving shipping discrepancies with empathy and efficiency.
- Tracking Mastery: Ensure a seamless post-purchase experience by closing the loop on tracking numbers and delivery confirmations.
- Product Management: Adding and updating products as we expand our vendor space.
3. Returns, Chargebacks, & Revenue Security
- Payment Management: Oversee our payment processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe, etc.) to ensure smooth transaction flows.
- Chargeback Defense: Actively manage and dispute chargebacks. Analyze dispute data to identify fraud patterns or shipping issues that trigger customer frustration.
- Refund Policy: Process refunds and returns according to brand guidelines, balancing customer satisfaction with bottom-line protection.
4. Leadership & Future Growth
- SOP Development: Document all workflows into a scalable Company Playbook.
- Team Building: As we grow, this position has the opportunity to grow into a people manager.
5. CRM & Lifecycle Marketing (Email Automation)
- Email Flow Management: Build and optimize automated flows in Shopify Email (Welcome series, Abandoned Cart, Post-Purchase education, and Win-back campaigns).
- Segmentation: Use customer purchase data to segment our list for highly targeted, personalized wellness messaging.
- Order Emails: Perfect automated emails regarding orders, subscriptions, tracking, etc.
- Social Media: Use Canva and other marketing tools to create relevant social media posts.
Who You Are
- 2+ Years Experience: Working in ecommerce. You know the Shopify ecosystem inside and out.
- Tech-Savvy: You can navigate browser extensions, automation tools, and data exports with ease.
- Mission-Aligned: You have a genuine passion for health, wellness, and holistic or functional medicine. You understand why our customers care so deeply about these products.
- The "Builder" Mindset: You enjoy the "messy" phase of a startup and take pride in creating order from chaos. You don't wait for instructions. You see a broken process and think, "I can make this better."
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $27–$32/hr
