Position Summary/Department Summary:
The Division of Allergy and Immunology is seeking a
temporary Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with allergic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide direct patient care in the outpatient allergy clinic setting.

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of allergic conditions, including:

Asthma
-
Non-allergic hives
-
Food allergies
-
Environmental allergies
-
Medication allergies
-
Eczema
-
Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education-
Master's degree in Nursing required.
Experience-
Minimum of two years of pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience required.

Allergy experience strongly preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Licensure/Certifications-
Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification required.

Current Massachusetts APRN license required.

Current DEA and MCSR licenses required.

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required
Schedule/Location:-
40 hours: 5 8’s (8AM-5PM), 6 sessions per week.
- Temporary coverage October 2026- April/May 2026.

This position is based primarily at Boston Children's Hospital's main campus Fegan 6 and 2 Brookline Place.
This is a non-benefitted position.
