RP Plastic Surgery and Rikesh Parikh MD FACS are seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for the clinic setting. We are interested in individuals who are interested in plastic surgery and aesthetics. The clinic is focused on cosmetic procedures and aesthetic services. We are looking for a RN that measures up to our high standards with excellent communication skills, projects a pleasant and professional image and likes to be busy with a variety of duties and responsibilities.

This is a full-time position located in beautiful Bellevue, WA.
Required Duties:
- Scribes patient notes at follow up then completes in electronic record
- Provides patients with instructions via phone call, text, email or in person
- Removes drains, sutures, staples as directed by the surgeon
- Initiates medical clearance, imaging and lab testing for surgery patients
- Explaining surgical expectations, recovery timelines, and required lifestyle changes.
- Ensuring patients complete necessary lab work, EKG requirements, and fulfill medication/dietary fasting rules
- Assisting with patient scheduling, inventory management for medical office supplies, and maintaining patient records
- On occasion will be in OR circulating/ recovery based on supporting team.
- Maintains tactful, mature, and good rapport with fellow team members, physicians, and other personnel with diverse personalities
Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience in operating room or surgical nursing
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
