Now Hiring Industrial Quality Inspectors in St. Bernard, OH!
Shift: 1st, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday
Rate: $24.00-$26.00 (Based on experience)
Essential Functions:
- Inspect against drawings: Use technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to measure and verify dimensions and tolerances.
- First, last, and periodic inspections: Conduct inspections at the start of production, at regular intervals and at the end of production to ensure consistency
- Dimensional and visual checks: Measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools; check for defects, surface finish, and assembly accuracy
- Process audits: Verify machine settings, material compliance, and operator performance against written work instructions
- Data collection & reporting: Record inspection results, scrap analysis, and quality trends; communicate findings to production and engineering teams
- Collaboration: Work with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions
- Safety & compliance: Follow safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
- Reading blueprints and drawings: Ability to interpret engineering drawings, understand tolerances.
- Measurement skills: Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and other inspection equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Prior quality inspection experience with metals/assemblies
- Prior industrial or manufacturing quality inspection experience
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with inspection equipment and quality control processes

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Industrial quality inspection: 3 years (Preferred)
- Precision measuring instruments: 2 years (Preferred)
- Blueprint reading: 2 years (Preferred)
