Our Oil Change Technicians are an important part of the customer experience. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to providing honest recommendations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform oil and filter changes according to company procedures and manufacturer specifications.
- Inspect and replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, fuel filters, wiper blades, and batteries.
- Check and properly top off vehicle fluids.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections.
- Clearly communicate inspection findings and recommended maintenance to the service advisor or customer.
- Educate customers about needed maintenance without using high-pressure sales tactics.
- Verify that oil caps, drain plugs, filters, skid plates, and other components are properly installed before vehicle release.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, including the upper and lower bays.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality-control requirements.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and coworkers.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of quick-lube or lower-bay experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced automotive or service environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Texas State Vehicle Inspector license preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing and eligible to obtain one.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer and point-of-sale skills preferred.
- Saturday availability required.
Working Environment:
This position requires working around vehicles, tools, automotive fluids, and shop equipment in both upper- and lower-bay areas. Some work areas are accessible only by stairs.
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry at least 20 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
- Safely enter, exit, and move customer vehicles.
- Use hand tools and automotive service equipment effectively.
- Work in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions.
- Work around oil, grease, cleaning products, and other automotive materials.
- Follow all personal protective equipment and shop safety requirements.
Pay: From $13.00-$15.00 per hour

- Day shifts.
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
- Monday through Saturday scheduling; the shop is closed on Sundays.
