Georgia Highlands Medical Services is a private, non-profit community health center that was founded in Forsyth County Georgia in 1979 to provide health care for the low income and uninsured. Position: Georgia Highlands is seeking a Development Director to serve as the primary architect for the organization's fundraising strategies, ensuring long-term financial sustainability and mission impact of the organization. This executive-level role focuses on securing diverse revenue streams through identification of funding opportunities; submission of grants; implementation of individual and corporate giving campaigns; corporate sponsorship; and fundraising events. The Development Director is responsible for developing and sustaining donor relationships, enhancing public awareness through strategic communication, overseeing community engagement, and expanding the organization’s annual giving program.
Qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3-5 years of nonprofit fundraising, institutional advancement, sales, business development, or related experience; demonstrated success building relationships, securing financial support, grant writing and management, and proficiency with CRM or donor management software. Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) or willingness to pursue certification. Passion for and commitment to the mission of Georgia Highlands Medical Services. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred.
