We are a private plastic surgery office and surgery center seeking a Licensed Surgical Technologist to join our team. Our clinic and ambulatory surgical facility are located in Tacoma. Our Surgery Techs perform a variety of technical duties to assist in preparing and caring for our patients. The tasks and responsibilities include: Assembling supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures; Preparing sterile instrument table; Preparing patient skin for surgery in accordance with ASF standards; Maintaining aseptic techniques; Providing comfort and support for our patients; Assisting in the transporting of patients to and from surgical suite; Positioning patient according to type of surgery; Assisting the surgical team in surgical procedures and decontamination.
You will be working directly with the Medical Director/Surgeon and will receive on the job training. We do not work weekends or evenings and we are hoping for a pretty quick start date. We currently offer health, vision and dental insurance, a 401K plan with matching and profit sharing.
