Requirements of the Packaging Operator
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience required
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Experience with changeovers and basic mechanical maintenance/troubleshooting
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift 50 pounds repetitively
- Stable work history
- Ability to work 12 hours
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to understand and respond to various notifications, both visual and audible, unless otherwise stated by the client
Responsibilities of the Packaging Operator
- Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications
- Performs required work steps within specific cycle time
- Operates presses and other manual machinery including lathes, grinders, mills and similar equipment
- Performs frequent quality checks on finished parts Operates test equipment and interprets pass/fail data
- Operates test equipment and interprets pass/fail data
- Experience with SAP is a plus
- Able to operate and/or learn how to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment
- Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are completed correctly and currently
- Adheres to company uniform and gowning policies
- All other duties as assigned
