We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in delivering exceptional guest experiences by managing check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries efficiently. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently using multi-line phone systems and reservation software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally, providing timely solutions
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette while managing incoming calls on multi-line phone systems
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications to bookings in accordance with hotel policies
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to high standards
- Support night audit procedures as needed, ensuring accurate financial transactions and record keeping
- Uphold hospitality standards by maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and front desk software
- Excellent phone etiquette and experience handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to manage guest relations with tact and diplomacy
- Knowledge of resort operations is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks
